Life is great?!

Life is always going to be great

That’s what my mother told

You’ll always find happiness

In things new or old!

I used to believe what she said,

Her words were only truth I knew

But then other side of life just peeped in

I saw it chasing me as I grew!

“You used to find happiness in things?

Now you’ll screw up each and every one.”

Smiling sarcastically she added in-

“I won’t leave till I’m done!!”

I faced problems, life turned ugly,

I started questioning mom’s thoughts

There was no happiness, no peace of mind

All those things increased my doubts.

But I was stubborn, never gave up to it

Fought every problem as they came by

Things were difficult, hard to handle

All I did was try try and try!

Now life again turned its wheel,

Good days came in again

It is sun shining brightly today,

But tomorrow it may rain.

Good days and bad days follow each other

Face every situation, strong and bold

And, Life is going to be great

Always, as my mother told!!!!
